Past Simple

-azione precisamente collocata nel passato

yesterday/ last year, last month, last week, last January../ ….two days ago, two years ago, two months ago…/ in 2010

 F. aff [regular verbs- irregular verbs]

·      Verbi Reg: I played.. yesterday

·      Verbi Irr: went

Il verbo (to) be, al simple past ha due forme: was ( I e III sing) were per tutte le altre.

F. AFF: You played tennis yesterday

F. INT: Did you play tennis yesterday?

F. Neg: You didn’t play tennis yesterday

 

Present perfect (simple)

USO 1

-Azione avvenuta ma non collocata

I have met Mark

USO 2

-azione avvenuta e collocata con:

·      Recently

·      Just, already, ever, never

·      still

·      Not…yet/ yet

I have just done my homework

USO 3

-azione iniziata nel passato che ancora dura (for/since) si usa FOR per l'arco di tempo/ SINCE per il momento di inizio

[I have had this bike for 2 weeks/ since October]
